This weekend is the annual UBS Parade Spectacular, the parade of everything Stamford! Starting at noon on Sunday, November 18, residents of our Stamford apartments will get to enjoy the show, all without walking more than a couple blocks to enjoy all the fun at this event, which draws a crowd of over 100,000 from the region and nearby states.
This year, there will be a lot to see, including two new huge balloons: Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax and Red from Fraggle Rock will be joining the balloons of other iconic characters. In addition, there will be award-winning marching bands to add pizazz to the day. The Westhill and Stamford High School marching bands will march along with Brentwood, Harrison, Norwalk, Trumbull, Uniondale High Schools and the NYPD Emerald Society Pipe & Drum Band and other marching bands from all over Connecticut and New York and the MarchFourth Marching Band all the way from Portland, OR. All of it will be guided by our Master of Ceremonies, Alan Kalter from the Late Show with David Letterman.
Our Stamford apartments are perfectly situated for this event and many more that happen throughout the year thanks to the Stamford Special Services District. Our residents are always right in the middle of the action, and never have to worry about parking or going far to enjoy the best Stamford has to offer.
