While we’ve always known our Norwalk apartments residents at Morningside Gardens are real sweethearts, here’s a chance for you to show everyone else. Join PAWS for a night of food and festivities at RIO Border Café in Norwalk next Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 from 5:00 pm to closing! PAWS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and placing them in new homes. The fundraiser held there last year was such a success that RIO asked us to come back! Mark, the owner of RIO, is an angel to the animals and is kindly donating a portion of the proceeds from every meal to PAWS.

For those of you who have been to RIO you know what a great place it is. For those of you looking to try someplace new, RIO is the place to be. Conveniently located about a mile from our Morningside Gardens Apartments on prospect St. in Norwalk, Rio has great food at reasonable prices, a fun, kitschy atmosphere, wonderful staff and great drinks! They even have vegetarian options for many of their menu items.
