From magical light displays to the ballet, we’ve compiled a list of exciting events in Connecticut just for you. There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy, and you don’t need Rudolph to get you there; just let the list below be your guide!

 Fantasy of Lights
What:
A drive-thru of more than 60 attractions including animated and LED light displays to benefit the Goodwill of Easter Seals. And, enhance the already spectacular experience with a pair of 3D glasses and special radio broadcast as you ride through the winter wonderland!
When:
Now until Jan. 6, 2016. Sunday through Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 until 10 p.m.
Where:
Lighthouse Point Park at 2 Lighthouse Road in New Haven
Cost:
Vehicles are $10, mini-busses are $25 and busses are $50

Festival of Lighthouses
What:
This unique holiday display is currently in its 14th year of showcasing large model lighthouses built by 22 local artists, families, individuals and students from around the state. Inspirations for the lighthouses come from real life or the artists’ wildest fantasies, and are made out of everything from wood, paper and stone to playing cards, cupcake liners and so much more. Bonus: YOU get to be the judge of which is the best creation! Visit the aquarium’s website for more information.
When: Now through Jan. 18, 2016
Where: The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk
Cost: Free with aquarium admission

Sons of Serendip Christmas: Beyond the Lights
What:
Let this classically trained quartet (and America’s Got Talent finalist) bring you good tidings this season at their Beyond the Lights holiday concert. Special guests will include the Greenwich Public Schools Honor Choir and members of Stamford’s Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
When:
Dec. 22 at 8 p.m.
Where: The Palace at 61 Atlantic Street in Stamford
Cost: $20 – $35 plus per-ticket fees

The Nutcracker
What:
Everyone’s favorite holiday tradition is back in Stamford to dazzle audiences with the story of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker toy.
When:
Dec. 19 and 20, various times
Where:
The Palace in Stamford
Cost:
$40 – $75 plus per-ticket fees
Know before you go: The ballet is presented by the Connecticut Ballet and features guest stars from the American Ballet Theatre.
