PUMPKIN PATCHES

New England’s most beautiful season has arrived, and that means pumpkins on porches and balconies, in our pies and muffins, and even in our coffee. Picking a pumpkin is an autumnal ritual for many, and the perfect excuse to get outside on a crisp afternoon. Stamford has several locations where you can take your children, friends and family to pick a pumpkin and enjoy tons of autumn-themed activities. Eden Farms, for instance, offers guests a pumpkin patch, a hay maze and a haunted house. The popular Sam Bridge Nursery in Greenwich offers free hay rides through their pumpkin patch.

FARMERS MARKETS
Fall is known as harvest time for a reason and this is the season when you can enjoy some of the best produce of the year. Stamford Downtown Farmers Market which is located on Prospect Street at Latham Park right near our 77 and 65 Prospect Street apartments, is full of perfect fall vegetables and fruits so you can indulge now and even freeze some for later. There are also several other markets throughout the area that offer an abundance of fresh products, some even feature all organic products.

HIKING

The trees are on fire with color and the weather is typically gorgeous once the rain subsides, so make sure to head out for a few trails during the fall months.
