1st Annual 12 Bars of Christmas Crawl for a Cause in Norwalk

NorwalkWhat could be more fun than a good, old-fashioned bar crawl? This is a prime opportunity to hang out with your friends, meet new people and try new drinks! Beginning Sunday, December 16 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Norwalk residents and surrounding areas can participate in the first annual 12 Bars of Christmas Crawl for a Cause. This is your opportunity to put on your best Santa suites, ugly sweaters, elf costumes andholiday onesies and crawl through town to help Open Door Shelter feed less fortunate people during this holiday season.

Registration is at Partner’s Café or Knot Norm’s Catering from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 16.  Once registered for $20, you will receive a ticket (which must be in hand to participate along with I.D.), a 16 oz Santa Stadium cup, Santa hat and wristband with a map of the crawl. The following bars will have drink specials for all participants:

  • Partner’s Cafe: 1 1/2 Cove Avenue East Norwalk, CT 06855 (Registration location from 1030am-4pm)
  • Knot Norm’s: 10 First Street East Norwalk, CT 06855 (Registration location from 1030am-4pm)
  • Station House Bar and Grill
  • Don Carmellos Mexican Grill and Tequila Bar
  • The Blind Rhino
  • Washington Prime
  • El Segundo
  • Oishi
  • Mecha Noodle Bar
  • Donovan’s
  • The Spread
  • Oniel’s Irish Pub and Restaurant

Norwalk is also known for the St. Patrick’s Day pub crawls and annual Lit Crawl, where people who love literature and poetry to get together and have a night of fun.

This event is the first of its kind in the Norwalk area and proceeds benefit a local organization that helps thousands in the area.
