You’ll need pumpkin puree (the kind that comes in a can), pumpkin pie spices, black pepper, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, whatever kind of milk you like, strong coffee and whipped cream.

Norwalk’s 40th Annual Oyster Festival

While most people see Labor Day as the unofficial end of summer, in Norwalk the celebration always begins the weekend after Labor Day at the annual Oyster Festival. The 40th annual Norwalk Oyster Festival returns Friday, September 8th through Sunday the 10th at the Norwalk Veteran’s Memorial Park on Norwalk Harbor near Long Island Sound.

Headlining the entertainment lineup this year will be Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot. Current Billy Joel band members, Mike DelGuidice, Tommy Bynres and Chuck Burgi will be performing Billy Joel music. This is the only show endorsed by Billy Joel, performed by his members and handpicked by Billy Joel himself. (more…)
